There are many documents and resources included that we hope will help you understand the insurance in place. V-Insurance has worked closely with Basketball Australia and each Basketball State/Territory Association to design this insurance program for its members. This insurance cover applies when members and other insured persons/entities are involved in activities that are sanctioned by each Basketball State Association.
Insurance Basketball Victoria provides a level of insurance to all registered members of Affiliated Associations. Basketball Victoria’s insurance provider is V-Insurance Group (Corporate Authorised Representative of Willis) and details regarding the level of coverage can be found via the
Travel Insurance. V-Insurance has worked closely with Basketball ACT, Basketball NSW, Basketball QLD, Basketball SA, Basketball TAS, Basketball VIC, Basketball WA and their affiliated bodies to provide travel insurance for nominated members, officials, volunteers and employees only. Please contact your State / Territory association to find out if you are covered by this insurance.

Registration to Basketball Victoria and insurance coverage is determined by registration to each season, program or event, NOT the BV licence alone (which is required / integrated in the registration process for domestic competitions, VJBL, JCBL and tournaments only). Participation in other competitions do not require players to hold a BV Licence; players will be covered for insurance if registered to the competition season.
